Terms and Conditions – Please read the following carefully.

By using the website “Hollywood Fish Farm Online” and purchasing products on it, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.

General
Hollywood Fish Farm Online may also terminate this agreement and immediately remove, cancel or suspend access to and use of Hollywood Fish Farm Online upon breach of any part of these terms whatsoever.

These terms constitute the full agreement between you and Hollywood Fish Farm Online and may only be amended in writing.

By purchasing from Hollywood Fish Farm Online, you agree that all details you provide to Hollywood Fish Farm Online for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.

To become a member of the Hollywood Fish Farm Online community you must first register and choose a username and password. You are responsible for all actions taken under that username and password and shall only use the site under your own username and password. You may not transfer or sell your username to anyone, nor permit, either directly or indirectly, anyone to use your username or password. You are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of your username and password. Hollywood Fish Farm Online reserves the right to cancel or suspend any accounts without notice.

Due to the nature of the internet there may be interruptions to services or website availability due to repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new services. We will naturally try to minimize these instances and strive to avoid any “down time”.

Hollywood Fish Farm Online may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written permission.

In the result of any waiver in respect to our terms we reserve the right to hold all terms relevant in the future.

Live Stock Terms & Conditions 
If you happen to have an issue with the purchase of any livestock from either of our 2 branches you need to contact us within 24 hours after purchasing them. If this is outside of our normal business hours you are welcome to contact us via email or via Facebook Messenger on our Facebook page. We will also require a photo/video of the issue or if the fish has died then please keep the body in the freezer until you are able to get hold of us. We also require a sample of the water from your aquarium to confirm the parameters. Please note each issue is resolved on a case by case basis

  • All livestock orders are shipped out every Monday & Tuesday (Excluding Public Holidays) Any orders received after 12pm on a Tuesday may not be shipped out until the following week. 

  • We are unable to ship livestock to any rural address including Waiheke Island – please note if you are unsure if you have a rural address please contact us prior to your purchase.

  • If you have chosen our click and collect option for your item/s of livestock these are only available to be collected from our Albany store during our normal opening hours. You must contact us 24 hours prior to collecting to ensure that the product you have ordered is currently in stock (as some items are specifically ordered in weekly) and also to ensure that the item/s are in optimum health. 

  • Hollywood Fish Farm ships all livestock at the full risk of the customer and will not be held liable for any death of your livestock item in transit. 

  • Due to the nature of livestock there may be occasions where the item/s you have purchased are not healty enough for sale at that time. When this situation happens we will contact you prior to sending out your order and may offer one of the following solutions: 

  1. Arrange an alternative product in place of the item/s purchased

  2. Arrange an alternative shipping date for the the item/s are back in stock

  3. Arrange a store credit or refund

ALL LIVESTOCK IS SENT AT THE FULL RISK OF THE CUSTOMER & WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP LIVESTOCK TO ANY RURAL ADDRESS INCLUDING WAIHEKE ISLAND

How does our free shipping policy work?

Free Shipping applies to online purchases only

Spend over $100 via our online store and we will ship your items to you free! We do have some exclusions to this policy and they are as follows:

Areas excluded are:

  • Any other country except for NZ
  • Waiheke Island
  • Great Barrier Island
  • Stewart Island

Products excluded are:

  • Aquariums & Cabinets
  • Gravel, Sand & Coral Rock
  • Chillers
  • Preformed Ponds
  • Reptile Housing
  • Marine Salt
  • Frozen Food
  • Livestock
  • Selected Oversize or Heavy Items 

Our Products
Hollywood Fish Farm Online cannot accept liability for the purchase of items that have been indicated as a not for sale in your region or country. In doing so, the purchaser accepts all liability for any action that may be taken by the country of their residence for the importation of any of the products listed on this web site.

You agree to take full responsibility and liability for any purchases made from Hollywood Fish Farm Online.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hollywood Fish Farm Online, its suppliers, employees, owners, partners, affiliates and agents for and against any and all losses, damages and expenses, including legal fees, which may result from the unsafe, improper or illegal use, or an unintended use of any product provided by Hollywood Fish Farm Online.

Purchasing
Once your order has been placed and completed online you will be sent an automated e-mail confirmation of your order. This e-mail is generated by the website and does not mean that we can definitely meet your order. It simply confirms that your order and all relevant details were received and are progressing through our system.

Hollywood Fish Farm Online may cancel any order and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time without notice. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Every order is treated as individual and will be processed as such.

All products and services are subject to availability. Hollywood Fish Farm Online endeavours to keep accurate stock levels, however in the event of an item being out of stock it will be deleted from your order or replaced with a similar product. If the item purchased is still required and a similar replacement cannot be found we will retain the order until such time that the item ordered comes back into stock.

Pricing & Payment
Please note prices on the website do not reflect the exact pricing in either of our 2 branches, both stores are individually managed and though all care is taken to ensure pricing on all products is the same this my differ from time to time.
All prices seen on the website are final. Any pricing errors will result in your order being suspended until which time we can contact you via the methods provided. In the instance that we cannot contact you, we will render the order cancelled and all payment refunded as per terms and conditions.

All prices are in NZ dollars.

All orders must be paid for in full before any goods will be shipped. All products are subject to availability and remain the property of Hollywood Fish Farm Online until paid for in full.

Hollywood Fish Farm Online does not share any information (personal or financial) with any third party.

All credit/debit card details are handled via Flo2Cash. Your bank or credit card company may require security checks to validate your purchase.

Hollywood Fish Farm Online does not accept cheques 

Faulty products / damaged items:
In the event that an item sent to you is found to be faulty, you may send it back to us for a replacement. It is at your cost & responsibility to return the product to base We will not accept charges for courier services or postage. Overseas, items should only be sent back using your country’s national postal service. We recommend using an insured delivery method; however we will not accept extra charges for Fed-Ex or other overnight courier services.
Please make sure that you have clearly read any instructions that may have come with the product, or may be displayed on our website, as products found not to be faulty when they come back to us, will be sent back to you at your cost. Please note that our return policy also applies.

Warranties
Many of our products come with their own warranties. Manufacturer’s instructions must be followed to activate these.
Please retain your receipt for proof of purchase for any faulty items.
Instructions for the use of goods must be followed, and the goods must not be used for any other purpose other than which they were intended. The customer is responsible for the necessary skill and care in the handling of the product.
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that Hollywood Fish Farm Online accepts no obligation or liability for any advice given. Goods are accepted by the Customer entirely at the customer’s risk.
