Terms and Conditions – Please read the following carefully.
By using the website “Hollywood Fish Farm Online” and purchasing products on it, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
General
Hollywood Fish Farm Online may also terminate this agreement and immediately remove, cancel or suspend access to and use of Hollywood Fish Farm Online upon breach of any part of these terms whatsoever.
These terms constitute the full agreement between you and Hollywood Fish Farm Online and may only be amended in writing.
By purchasing from Hollywood Fish Farm Online, you agree that all details you provide to Hollywood Fish Farm Online for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.
To become a member of the Hollywood Fish Farm Online community you must first register and choose a username and password. You are responsible for all actions taken under that username and password and shall only use the site under your own username and password. You may not transfer or sell your username to anyone, nor permit, either directly or indirectly, anyone to use your username or password. You are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of your username and password. Hollywood Fish Farm Online reserves the right to cancel or suspend any accounts without notice.
Due to the nature of the internet there may be interruptions to services or website availability due to repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new services. We will naturally try to minimize these instances and strive to avoid any “down time”.
Hollywood Fish Farm Online may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written permission.
In the result of any waiver in respect to our terms we reserve the right to hold all terms relevant in the future.
Live Stock Terms & Conditions
If you happen to have an issue with the purchase of any livestock from either of our 2 branches you need to contact us within 24 hours after purchasing them. If this is outside of our normal business hours you are welcome to contact us via email or via Facebook Messenger on our Facebook page. We will also require a photo/video of the issue or if the fish has died then please keep the body in the freezer until you are able to get hold of us. We also require a sample of the water from your aquarium to confirm the parameters. Please note each issue is resolved on a case by case basis
All livestock orders are shipped out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.
Our livestock orders are shipped using NZ Post overnight delivery service.
Shipping costs for fish are as follows:
North Island (Non-Rural): $25.00
South Island (Non-Rural): $40.00
This covers the cost of the overnight shipping, polystyrene box, and heat pack.
Shipping cost for plants are as follows:
NZ: $7.99
Tracking will automatically be sent to you using the email address you have provided.
If your order arrives on the expected delivery date but arrive DOA, we require some clear photos/videos in the unopened bag within the hour of delivery.
This can be sent to us either via Facebook or emailed to info@hollywoodfishfarm.co.nz
Should these instructions fail to be met, we may not be able to offer a store credit/replacement.
Unfortunately as we have no control over courier delivery times, there are cases where your order may be delayed in transit. We do not guarantee your order will arrive overnight however we will do our best on our end to ensure we can do everything we can. All livestock orders are sent at risk to the customer. Please keep this in mind when placing your order – Hollywood Fish Farm is not responsible or liable for any courier delays.
We can ship to Rural Delivery addresses; however our policy does not apply here – this is at the buyers risk.
We will not be responsible for any delays of Livestock for Rural addresses. Generally there is a delay for rural addresses, so please keep this in mind when placing your order. If possible, a business address in your local town would be highly recommended for any live fish orders to avoid any major delays. This also applies to Waiheke, Great Barrier, Chatham and Stewart Island.
Reimbursement is at the discretion of Hollywood Fish Farm and may be in the form of store credit/replacement product. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Live Food Terms & Conditions
Hollywood Fish Farm ships all live food at the full risk of the customer and will not be held liable for any death of your live food item in transit.
Frozen Food Terms & Conditions
Hollywood Fish Farm ships all Frozen food at the full risk of the customer and will not be held liable for any losses of your frozen food item in transit.
Please Note: All frozen food is sent with an ice pack in a polystyrene box. Unfortunately as we have no control over courier delivery times or other factors such as the temperature of the weather, there are cases where your order may show up defrosted. We do not guarantee your order will arrive frozen however we will do our best. All frozen food is sent at risk to the customer. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.
We will not be responsible for any delays of Frozen Food for Rural addresses. Generally there is a delay for rural addresses, so please keep this in mind when placing your order. If possible, a business address in your local town would be highly recommended for frozen food orders to avoid any major delays. This also applies to Waiheke, Great Barrier, Chatham and Stewart Island.
In the event of your frozen food arriving defrosted, 99% of the time it is safe to refreeze and use.
How does our free shipping policy work?

Spend over $100 via our online store and we will ship your items to you free! We do have some exclusions to this policy and they are as follows:

Our Products
Hollywood Fish Farm Online cannot accept liability for the purchase of items that have been indicated as a not for sale in your region or country. In doing so, the purchaser accepts all liability for any action that may be taken by the country of their residence for the importation of any of the products listed on this web site.
You agree to take full responsibility and liability for any purchases made from Hollywood Fish Farm Online.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hollywood Fish Farm Online, its suppliers, employees, owners, partners, affiliates and agents for and against any and all losses, damages and expenses, including legal fees, which may result from the unsafe, improper or illegal use, or an unintended use of any product provided by Hollywood Fish Farm Online.

Purchasing
Once your order has been placed and completed online you will be sent an automated e-mail confirmation of your order. This e-mail is generated by the website and does not mean that we can definitely meet your order. It simply confirms that your order and all relevant details were received and are progressing through our system.
Hollywood Fish Farm Online may cancel any order and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time without notice. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Every order is treated as individual and will be processed as such.
All products and services are subject to availability. Hollywood Fish Farm Online endeavours to keep accurate stock levels, however in the event of an item being out of stock it will be deleted from your order or replaced with a similar product. If the item purchased is still required and a similar replacement cannot be found we will retain the order until such time that the item ordered comes back into stock.
Pricing & Payment
Please note prices on the website do not reflect the exact pricing in either of our 2 branches, both stores are individually managed and though all care is taken to ensure pricing on all products is the same this my differ from time to time.
All prices seen on the website are final. Any pricing errors will result in your order being suspended until which time we can contact you via the methods provided. In the instance that we cannot contact you, we will render the order cancelled and all payment refunded as per terms and conditions.
All prices are in NZ dollars.
All orders must be paid for in full before any goods will be shipped. All products are subject to availability and remain the property of Hollywood Fish Farm Online until paid for in full.
Hollywood Fish Farm Online does not share any information (personal or financial) with any third party.
All credit/debit card details are handled via Flo2Cash. Your bank or credit card company may require security checks to validate your purchase.
Hollywood Fish Farm Online does not accept cheques
Faulty products / damaged items / Missing:
If an item is damaged upon arrival you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
Please email online@hollywoodfishfarm.co.nz – along with a photo that clearly shows the product’s damage. From there we will advise the next steps.
In the event that an item sent to you is found to be faulty, you may send it back to us for a replacement. It is at your cost & responsibility to return the product to base We will not accept charges for courier services or postage. Overseas, items should only be sent back using your country’s national postal service. We recommend using an insured delivery method; however we will not accept extra charges for Fed-Ex or other overnight courier services.
Please make sure that you have clearly read any instructions that may have come with the product, or may be displayed on our website, as products found not to be faulty when they come back to us, will be sent back to you at your cost. We may require photo/videos of the product in question before any action can be made to help determine a remedy/solution or to diagnose the problem. You are also welcome to send the product back to us for inspection, or bring the item into our Albany, East Tamaki or Hamilton Store. We may ask you to leave the product with us for some testing, in which someone will contact you once an outcome has been determined. Please note that our return policy also applies.
Warranties
Many of our products come with their own warranties. Manufacturer’s instructions must be followed to activate these.
Please retain your receipt for proof of purchase for any faulty items.
Instructions for the use of goods must be followed, and the goods must not be used for any other purpose other than which they were intended. The customer is responsible for the necessary skill and care in the handling of the product.
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that Hollywood Fish Farm Online accepts no obligation or liability for any advice given. Goods are accepted by the Customer entirely at the customer’s risk
Our Branches
Although we share the same brand name, our Mt Roskill store operates under different ownership and is not affiliated to our Albany, Hamilton or Online store/website.
Mt Roskill prices may differ from what is shown online. Mt Roskill may also have different terms and conditions and run different promotions.
