PLEASE NOTE: We order all of our Live Food in fresh every week to ensure that the food arrives to you as fresh and healthy as possible. Our Live Food supply is ordered every MONDAY MORNING and arrives to us Fresh every Thursday so any orders placed after MONDAY MORNING may not leave until the following Thursday. 

Please follow instructions on the back of the pack. Do not use the flies in the culture until 1 week after the date stamped on the back as these are the parents of the main generation to come a few days later. After a week they can be fed out. Do not take the lid off and leave an open container in the terrarium. We have heard instances of small animals becoming trapped in the food. Place a piece of apple in the terrarium and tap out a few flies onto it, then replace the lid. A sharp tap on the table will make the flies drop to the bottom before lid replacement.
