LIVE FISH AND REPTILES SHIPPING 

Please Note: All our live fish orders are sent out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (excluding public holidays).
If your order contains any dried products such as food, spare parts, medications etc. Your order will be shipped out on the above days at the same time as your live fish (Mon-Wed).

If your order contains live fish AND live plants or live food, your live fish and dried goods will be sent out Mon-Wed. However your food/plants will be ordered in from our suppliers as usual on Monday mornings – and then sent out separately the following Thursday. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. 

Our livestock orders are shipped using NZ Couriers overnight delivery service.

Shipping costs for fish are as follows:
North Island (Non-Rural): $25.00
South Island (Non-Rural): $40.00

This covers the cost of the overnight shipping, polystyrene box, and heat pack.

Please note: This is a seperate shipping fee to other items you may be ordering. For example, if you order live fish + other products such as food, medication, lighting etc. You will be charged the livestock shipping fee as above, as well as a shipping fee for any other goods you may have in your order. 

Tracking will automatically be sent to you using the email address you have provided.

If your order arrives on the expected delivery date but arrive DOA, we require some clear photos/videos in the unopened bag within the hour of delivery. (Please note some fish are shipped at your own risk – please ask our team if this applies to any of the fish you are wanting to purchase)

Should these instructions fail to be met, we may not be able to offer a store credit/replacement.

Unfortunately as we have no control over courier delivery times, there are cases where your order may be delayed in transit. We do not guarantee your order will arrive overnight however we will do our best on our end to ensure we can do everything we can. 

All livestock orders are sent at risk to the customer. Please keep this in mind when placing your order – Hollywood Fish Farm is not responsible or liable for any courier delays.

We can ship to Rural Delivery addresses; however our policy does not apply here – this is at the buyers risk.

Please note: We will not be responsible for any delays of Livestock. Generally there is a delay for rural addresses, so please keep this in mind when placing your order. 
If possible, a business address in your local town would be highly recommended for any live fish orders to avoid any major delays. This also applies to Waiheke, Great Barrier, Chatham and Stewart Island.

Reimbursement is at the discretion of Hollywood Fish Farm and may be in the form of store credit/replacement product. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

LIVE PLANTS SHIPPING 

We order our live plants from our supplier every Monday morning, which is then dispatched every Thursday from our warehouse. 

Any orders that miss the cut off for the week will be added to next weeks order. Please keep this in mind when ordering live plants with other goods or products. 

If you place an order with live plants on a Tuesday for example, this will be added to the following weeks order with our suppliers, and dispatched that following Thursday.

This way we can ensure you are receiving the freshest plants possible!

If your order contains dry goods, the entire order will be shipped when the plants arrive.

Unfortunately as we have no control over courier delivery times, there are cases where your order may be delayed in transit. We will do our best on our end to ensure we can do everything we can. All live plant orders are sent at risk to the customer. Please keep this in mind when placing your order – Hollywood Fish Farm is not responsible or liable for any courier delays. 

If you have any concerns regarding your order after arrival, please get in touch with our head office within 24 hours of delivery via email.

LIVE INSECTS/FOOD SHIPPING 

We order our live food from our supplier every MONDAY morning, which is then dispatched every Thursday from our warehouse. 

Any orders that miss the cut off for the week (Monday Morning) will be added to next weeks order and leave the following Thursday. Please keep this in mind when ordering live food with other goods or products. 

If you place an order with live food on a Wednesday for example, this will be added to the following weeks order with our suppliers, and dispatched that following Thursday.

This way we can ensure you are receiving the freshest insects possible!

If your order contains dry goods, the entire order will be shipped when the live insects/food arrive.
